Karena Ogloff is a Senior Associate at Testart Family Lawyers, having joined the firm in 2025. She has practised exclusively in family law since her admission to practice in 2021, and is experienced in complex matters involving parenting disputes, property settlements, financial agreements and family violence. Karena empowers clients to navigate their family law matters by providing careful strategy and clear, tailored advice, and is keenly focused on achieving just and equitable outcomes for her clients. With a background in psychology, she approaches practice with empathy, cultural sensitivity and compassion, and is a member of the Commonwealth Law Association, Victorian Women Lawyers, the Golden Key International Honour Society and the Family Law Section.
Karena graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Psychological Science. For her Honours studies, Karena conducted qualitative research into the advantages and opportunities for reform of family reports conducted by psychological experts in family law matters. Prior to practising law, Karena expanded her insight into complex family dynamics by working as a research assistant on a forensic psychological study which focused on refining the family violence risk identification tools utilised by authorities to reduce family violence.
